On June 26th, our institution observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse with a series of activities aimed at raising awareness and promoting a drug-free community. The event began with a solemn oath-taking ceremony, where senior police officer Sri Preeth administered a pledge to students and staff, encouraging them to commit to a drug-free life. This promise served as a powerful reminder of the importance of leading a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
Sri Preeth conducted an informative and engaging awareness session, educating participants about the dangers of drug abuse, its consequences on physical and mental health, and the legal implications of drug-related offenses.
