We celebrated Janmashtami on Friday, August 23rd with great enthusiasm and fervour for KG to Std. 2. The students dressed up in colourful attires, depicting Lord Krishna, Radha, and gopas, setting the tone for a vibrant celebration.
The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a heartfelt prayer, followed by an enlightening speech by Arya Ma’am from the English department. She shared valuable insights about Lord Krishna’s life and teachings, captivating the young audience. A majestic procession followed, where students and teachers proceeded to our Brahmasthanam Temple, full of joy and devotion. Upon arrival, the kids delighted everyone with their energetic dance performances, accompanied by their teachers.
The highlight of the celebration was the ‘Uriyadi’ game, which thrilled the children and left them beaming with excitement. The celebration concluded with the distribution of laddoo ‘Prasadam’ spreading sweetness and joy among the students.
