Our school celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with a series of meaningful activities that fostered community service and environmental awareness.
Key Events:
- Inspiring Speech: Adi Sankar of Class 12 delivered a powerful speech during the assembly, inspiring everyone with Gandhian values.
- Cleanliness Drive: On October 1st, students of Classes 11 and 12 led a cleanliness drive at the Brahmastana Temple and nearby roads, clearing waste and establishing a “SELFIE POINT” by removing weeds and dry leaves.
- Sapling Planting: Under the guidance of our Principal and teachers, students planted a mango sapling, named ‘PRAKRITI MA,’ within the temple grounds.
- Painting Competition: The UKG department held a painting contest titled “MY CLEAN & GREEN BHARAT, MY PRIDE!” where 15 young artists showcased their talents.
- Swachhata Pledge: On October 3rd, students, teachers, parents, Ayahs, and community members united to take the Swachhata Pledge.
- Honouring Ayahs: As a gesture of gratitude, students honoured our Ayahs by applying chandan and kumkum on their foreheads and presenting them with rose flowers.
- Human Chain: A human chain, formed by our Principal, teachers, students, and community members, symbolized our dedication to the Swachhata mission.
- Quiz Competition: Led by Sreedevi Ma’am from the Social Studies department, a quiz contest for Classes 11 and 12 crowned Anandamayi House as winners.
Results:
- Winner: Anandamayi House
- Runner-up: Amritanandamayi House
- Third Place: Jyothirmayi House & Chinmayi House
