On 2nd February, we went for a second celebration. Kids’ Fancy Dress competitions were held for all sections in the morning. Recitation and Storytelling Competitions in English and Malayalam were conducted for Std. II.
The First session in the afternoon was specifically set aside for Creative Art Activity, involving Family Togetherness. The kids were asked to assist their parents in creating craft models with the materials provided by the school. The second entertainment, involving Family Togetherness was a “Flameless Cooking” session that put to test the cooking talents of the whole unit. Gifts were offered to all the family units involved in the craft work, but the second session was judged based on the merit of certain criteria.
Overall, the entire session was very engaging and entertaining to all the participants as well as the onlookers!
